The national foundation day of Japan

Feburary 11 is the national foundation day of Japan.

By the national foundation myth, Feburary 11 660BC, after Kan-Yamatoiwarehiko-no-mikoto conquered to the east part of Japan (Currently, it is middle of Japan), he had the coronation ceremony at Kashihara Jingu shrine, Kashihara city, Nara pref. Then, he became to Jinmu Tennou, the first emperor of Japan. Now, current emperor is 125th emperor. Until now, the dynasty of Japan doesn't have name because dynasty of Japan haven't changed yet.

The first emperor of Japan, Jinmu tennou.

On the other hand, so many dynasties were existed and disappeared in Chinese history.

In 246BC, Ying Zheng became to the first emperor of China.

Maybe he was so exciting and happy at that time.

He named himself as "The first emperor"

His name and his mausoleum is still exist.

Unfortunately, his dynasty couldn't live long time.

I understand that he was great man because he unified Chinese!

He had faced extremely difficult circumstances.

By the way, to tell the truth, from Japanese first emperor to the 10th emperor were not sure by historical fact.

Maybe these may be in the myth.

I am wondering that who is the true first emperor of Japan.

Why he didn't declare as "I am the first emperor of Japan!"?

We know that all of the heroes and the person in powers are always crazy to scream as "I am No.1, I am first greatest man!".

They realy love powerful, greatest, first, etc.

But in Japan, any emperors never declared as "I am first."

He abandoned the fascinating chance of "The first", and he had chosen to respecting to the fictional former greats.

The generation of current emperor which is 125th is counted from the myth age!

To tell the truth, most of Japanese doesn't care about it.

I think most of Japanese didn't watch "past" authority. We believe to something more important things.

I believe that is showing the spirit of Japanese.

The real first emperor believed that there are the truth which is more important than such a individual power and authority for citizen.

Except very short time, emperor didn't have political power, but emperor have always authority to Japan.

Meiji emperor, the 142th addressed a Imperial Rescript. It is written about education.

The time of Meiji emperor was one of the most difficult time.

No more Shogun, no more Samurai, study from Western, abandon such a "old" style.

Japanese people are loosing the way of Japanese at that time.

Meiji emperor showed the way like this;

Unfortunately, current environment of Japan is not in very peace.

But if my foreigner friends can recognize the philosophy like this, and spread it, I am very happy.

I believe it makes more peace in the world.
